  • I used capricitits pure olive oil on my face but then i read that pure ones are chemically done and i was suppose to use the extra virgin.........

  • You should not be putting olive oil on your face at all, it will just act as a barrier and block pores, your skin cannot absorb it very well. It does not contain any greatly nutritious ingredients or properties for the skin either.
The only thing you could do is add a handful of sugar to some olive oil and use it as a body scrub. Not on your face though.

  • Moisturizers need to be water-based so that they get absorbed into the skin. You can get away with using olive oil on your body as a lubricant for massages etc but you shouldn't be using it on your face.

  • don't do that

  • Lavender is a cure all, for dry skin, for stress relief, for all sorts of things. BUT make sure it's organic. Synthetic oils can do more harm than good. If lavender doesn't do it for you, try Jasmine (that's my favorite). If you have dry skin, stay away from Thyme and Rosemary (okay for oily skin). Sandalwood can get expensive IF it's organic (there is a shortage you know). Also sandalwood gives off an unpleasant smell if it's been left in the sun to long
