prefix to show in showthread

  • I believe that showthread is the page where threads are listed?
    I see [Solved] prefix in showthread in http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=135
    For some reason in my default template I can't seem to find an option to display the prefix in showthread?
    However the prefix shows in the actual thread.

    Can anyone please help?

  • steve. I have a feeling that i cant get this to work because i'm applying this to a forum with Gars. It may be using a template without prefix feature.


  • Try this. Create a new style and choose no parent style. This will force it to use the default templates. Then change to this style and view your forums with it. Do you have the same problem?

    If you do, empty your browser cache, close all browser windows and try again.

    If you do not have this problem with the original templates, then this means the problem is with one or more of your custom templates. You need to revert your templates, then redo your changes.


  • Did you create any thread prefixes?

    Admin CP -> Thread Prefixes -> Thread Prefix Manager -> Add Prefix

    I'm wondering if I had missed any option to turn on?

    I have a custom prefix and it does get displayed within the thread but not in the page many threads are listed(showthread page?). I followed your instruction but failed.
