My crush just asked me out (im 13, he is 14) [is that too young to date?]
I said yes
my mum had said it would be fine
she said to me all the things a mum would say like
'don't so anything you dont want to do, he is a little older than you and dont go too far, but im not saying i can trust you, so when are you going on your first date?'
Does this sound like she is not sure about us two?
she has been saying for ages that i should go out with him but then she said that ^^^
?No she is just saying that because your might be growing up too fast.Doesn't appear to be anything wrong here.Your mum is being very nice to you! My 13 year would absolutely not be allowed to date. It is my opinion that at this age you should still be having fun as a child, not trying to be grown-up. Why not just wait a bit longer, you will have more fun dating if you do.You're 13 and still a child, of course your mother is worried about you going out. It might not be with this guy in particular, but just about the fact that you're growing up and going out with ANYone! Give her a little bit of a break, she's worried and wants you to know everything she can tell you before you go out, just like most parents who love their kids!I think it is a bit too young too date you have plenty of time to do that i would just concentrate on your schoolwork at the moment and don't take notice of your peers.and i don't know about you if my mum was too push me into going out with this guy it would have the complete opposite effect i would run in the opposite direction.hiya,im a mother of 3 grown up girls,your has said to you what i have said to my girls.all mum's worry when there daughters ,go out with boys.so don't worry your mum is not out of order.have a great date and have loads of fun.#If you have any other info about this subject , Please add it free.# |
