I'm reading this article and it's got me a little confused.
Thank you!Sperm is not needed in the cloning process. If sperm is to be used then you will need an egg to where it will react. In cloning, what you need are only cells.nope. cloning is what mitosis is...the production of offspring that is genetically identicle to the parent (enless theres mutations along the way..). of course this can be done naturally or artificially in labs. sooo since this is dealing with mitosis, then no sperm arent needed at allNo. Take any cell in the body ,because all cells in the body contain same DNA. Than remove the nucleus and place it in a egg cell. Tad ah you have a clone.no. all you need is a egg thats had its DNA removed and a cell that has a full set of DNA. the DNA is inserted into the egg and the egg thinks it has been fertilised and will then start to grow. this means it will grow into and exact copy of the cell the original DNA came from#If you have any other info about this subject , Please add it free.# |
