Does hull, in the UK have red salt?

  • my friend told me that there is a salt in hull called red salt and you can only get it in Hull..
    i was just wondering if it is true or not?

  • Are you talking about the stuff they put on chips? I've heard that take-aways in Hull are the only ones that use it on their chips. It's a reddish colour. But all it is, is seasoning salt and you can buy it from any supermarket under that name. Report Abuse
