  • If you purchase VB, can you run a version on another server as a test environment (non-production) to test patches, changes, cms integration outside of your normal URL? Even if it is only on a local server using non-routeable example.com domain?


  • If you read the license agreement you will be aware that you are allowed to run a second copy of vBulletin for test purposes ONLY on the condition that it A) not accessible to the public (eg. password protected) and B) it is in a directory called "testvb"

    I don't have the license agreement as I haven't bought the product yet, but that is absolutely perfect. I have no intentions on trying to get around the license, I just want a parallel environment for testing.
