Many people ask oppiniated questions and often they themselves have an opinion concerning whatever it is they asked. So isn't a "best answer" in this case simply a synonym for "the answer I want to hear"?yupp...
i have seen a few questions where everyone except one person disagrees with the asker... and guess who gets the extra 10 points? the one person that agrees... i bet they dont even read the other answers...

I've sometimes answered those types of questions, with another viewpoint and data to support it -- and been given Best Answer for it by the asker. Even had one thank me for giving him something to think about. So there ARE still a FEW folks out there with open minds.You are absolutely right.
