Well I'm going to be shooting sports outdoors. My question, is the UV filter usefull or not. I read somewhere that a filter should never be used due to more glare from the extra glass on the end of the lense. Any input?:)I have one on every lens that I have. Long available focal length allows me to shoot from a greater distance if need be. Aperture is constant; the ability to shoot at 200mm and f/2.8 comes in very handy at times. For some reason a gig of ram is not enough for the vbulletin that I run on it's own server. The memory gets maxed out and apache is crashing on me sometimes two or three times a day. okay, so here we go, i have two cigarette-sized (the tip) reddish marks on my leg. Well I'm going to be shooting sports outdoors. My question, is the UV filter usefull or not. For some reason a gig of ram is not enough for the vbulletin that I run on it's own server. The memory gets maxed out and apache is crashing on me sometimes two or three times a day. okay, so here we go, i have two cigarette-sized (the tip) reddish marks on my leg.
